Don't Forget! Submissions Are Open for the Inaugural 
Applied Vision Science Meeting

We would like to remind you about the upcoming inaugural Applied Vision Science (AVS) Meeting and encourage you to submit your abstract before our deadline of January 16th. This one-day conference will take place on May 20, 2026, in St. Pete Beach, Florida, on the Wednesday immediately following the Vision Sciences Society Annual Meeting

The AVS meeting will feature a full day of programming, including invited talks and poster sessions. Its purpose is to bring together and showcase the highest-quality research in applied vision science. By co-locating the AVS meeting with VSS, we aim to encourage meaningful exchange between the basic and applied vision science communities. We believe this integration will strengthen both fields and enhance the overall conference experience.
