[visionlist] Reminder: Submit Symposia and Workshop proposals for APCV / EPC 2026, Auckland, New Zealand

Dear APCV and EPC communities

A reminder that the deadline for submitting ideas for symposia and workshops for EPC / APCV 2026, in Auckland, New Zealand is fast approaching (31st January).

Member-initiated symposia are flexible in their format and number of speakers. Symposia will be scheduled alongside talk streams throughout the conference, and they will have a 90 minute duration, generally consisting of 3-4 speakers and a discussant. If you plan on a submission, please keep in mind the diversity of your panel in terms of career stages, gender and University affiliations. Submissions are open now, via the conference website, and will close 31st January 2026.

Student travel awards: To enable PhD, Masters, and Honours students to attend the meeting, we offer up to 40 student travel support awards of 500AUD. Awards will be given on the basis of need, and can be applied for as part of the process of submitting a Talk or Poster Abstract (open now). Applications for student travel awards will close 27th February 2026, so students wishing to apply for an award must submit their abstract by then.

The link for general abstract submission (rolling acceptance until 30 April) is now open. Please note that you need to register and pay for the conference by 15th May 2026 to present.

- 31st January 2026: deadline for symposium and workshop proposals
- 27th February 2026: abstract submission deadline for students wishing to apply for a travel award
- 30th April 2026: abstract submission deadline for all other presenters
- 15th May 2026: early bird registration end, deadline for presenters to register
- 1st-4th July 2026: EPC-APCV joint meeting, Auckland, New Zealand
