The Otto-von-Guericke University of Magdeburg is pleased to announce a fully-funded PhD position as part of the IndiBrain European training network.
This offers a unique opportunity to conduct cutting-edge neuroimaging research in a multidisciplinary environment.
Available Project:
* Project DC15: Individualized detection of visual cortex abnormalities for prognosis of therapy success.
We aim to identify cortical changes as individualized prognostic biomarkers. Patients with congenital or acquired visual field defects will be assessed with 3T/7T MRI, non-invasive electrophysiology, and advanced analysis techniques.
Key Information:
* Funding & Mobility: Supported by a Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant; candidates must not have resided in Germany for more than 12 months in the last 3 years.
* Training: Includes secondments with international academic and industrial partners.
* Requirements: Strong interest in neuroimaging/quantitative analysis/computational modelling.
* Deadline: 27th February 2026.
