Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Multimodal AI

Our research lab at the Department of Computer Engineering @ Istanbul 
Technical University (ITU) invites applications for a postdoctoral 
researcher position focused on advancing multimodal artificial 
intelligence for virtual meetings.

This position is aligned with the Horizon Europe project Meetween, which 
aims to improve human-to-human interaction and understanding in virtual 
environments.

The successful candidate will conduct research on multimodal language 
models, visual perception, and human behavior analysis, with a 
particular emphasis on:

     Analysis of meeting participants and social signals

     Understanding and modeling meeting content

The position offers the opportunity to work in an international research 
project and collaborate with academic and industrial partners across 
Europe.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is 
filled. The start date is flexible between March and July 2026. The 
duration of the appointment is until the end of 2027.
