The Brains, Minds & Bots Lab at Technische Universität Berlin invites
applications for a three-year fixed-term research position within the
DFG-funded project *“Neural correlates of trust in human–AI interaction.”*
The position is expected to be filled in Spring 2026.

We seek a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher or doctoral candidate to
investigate the neural dynamics of mental states during human–AI and
human–robot interaction. The project examines how EEG can be used to derive
implicit neural markers of trust and to quantify attentional allocation and
working memory load in real time. By combining EEG/ERP methodology,
cognitive modeling, and behavioral paradigms targeting visual attention and
working memory, the project aims to establish objective measures of trust
and cognitive workload that enable continuous tracking of user states
during interaction with intelligent systems.

The position will be supervised by *Prof. Dr. Eva Wiese* and *Dr. Tobias
Feldmann-Wüstefeld*. The role may be filled at the doctoral or postdoctoral
level; candidates without a PhD will have the opportunity to pursue a
doctorate within the project.
