Kia ora / Hello
A reminder that Asia Pacific Conference on Vision: Auckland New Zealand 2026 abstract submissions will close at the end of day on 30th April 2026 (NZT = GMT+12)!
We have an exciting program, with a keynote presentation by Prof. Hakwan Lau<https://www.ibs.re.kr/eng/sub02_06_09.do>, and symposia on Synaesthesia, the Image Processing Foundations for Visual Cognition, Gaze Perception, Visual Snow, Imagined Sensations and Current Applications of Virtual Reality in Cognitive Science.
Auckland is a beautiful harbourside city, in close proximity by ferry to Waiheke Island - which hosts many vineyards and restaurants. There are also ample opportunities for tourism within the vibrant city of Auckland - so take advantage of this opportunity to engage with great science and colleagues while visiting New Zealand.
If you have not yet submitted an abstract, please consider doing so soon before time runs out.
For those who plan to give oral presentations: We will organise talks into thematic sessions, but as we have rolling acceptance earlier submissions are more likely to be assigned a talk.
A draft program will be released in May, after abstract submissions close.
In the meantime, have a look at the exciting events we have already planned on the conference website:
