[visionlist] Pascal Mamassian wins the Kurt Koffka Medal 2026

I’m delighted to announce that Prof. Pascal Mamassian (ENS Paris) has been awarded the 2026 Kurt Koffka Medal for his outstanding contributions to the scientific understanding of perceptual inference under uncertainty.

The Kurt Koffka Medal is awarded by the Psychology Department of Justus Liebig University Giessen in honour of the famous co-founder of Gestalt Psychology, who was at Giessen for over a decade.  We alternate between recognising leaders in the fields of Perceptual Psychology and Developmental Psychology, reflecting research areas of particular importance to Kurt Koffka’s own work.
