Call for Papers: Special Issue – The Role of Depth Representation in Working Memory (Behavioral Sciences)
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to invite submissions to the Special Issue "The Role of Depth Representation in Working Memory" in Behavioral Sciences.
This Special Issue aims to advance theoretical and empirical work on how three-dimensional information is represented and used in working memory. We welcome contributions examining the encoding, maintenance, and functional role of depth, three-dimensional structure, and volumetric information, as well as their interactions with perception, attention, and goal-directed behavior.
We encourage submissions from cognitive psychology, vision science, neuroscience, and related disciplines. Behavioral, neural, computational, methodological, and review papers are all welcome, including studies using immersive or ecologically valid environments (e.g., virtual or augmented reality).
The Special Issue webpage, including the full scope and submission information, is available at:
https://www.mdpi.com/journal/behavsci/special_issues/1361MFQ3PZ
Manuscript submission deadline: 31 July 2027
If you have any questions about the suitability of a potential contribution, please feel free to contact us.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could also share this announcement with colleagues who may be interested.
