[visionlist] Postdoctoral position at Michigan State University

[Liu, Taosheng]

We are seeking highly qualified and motivated individuals to collaborate on projects investigating the neural mechanisms of visual attention and working memory. We are interested in how the brain represents attentional priority and the nature of attentional modulation in both the control and sensory network. The postdoctoral scholar is expected to become familiar with the background literature, design and implement experiments, collect and analyze data, and write up reports for dissemination.
A Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Neuroscience, Computational Science) is required. Proficiency in computer programming and data analysis is necessary. A background in cognitive neuroscience of relevant research domains is highly desired, as well as familiarity with fMRI, EEG, and TMS technology (one or multiple modalities) and computational modeling.
