<p style="margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt"><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">Schepens Eye Research Institute, Massachusetts Eye and Ear, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, has an opening for a full-time post-doctoral fellow / programmer
to work with Dr. Alex Bowers and colleagues in the Mobility Enhancement and Vision Rehabilitation Center of Excellence. The position is initially available for one year with the possibility of extension.</span></p>

<p style="margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt"><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"" lang="EN">The successful candidate will make major contributions to a project evaluating the effects of age and vision impairment on deployment of attention and gaze
scanning behaviors in laboratory tasks and driving simulator tasks. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"; color:black"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"; color:black">The ideal candidate will have a PhD, excellent programming skills and a background in eye movement research or visual psychophysics. Ideal candidates will also be highly motivated,
good communicators with excellent interpersonal skills, and have a keen interest in working with people with vision impairments. Experience of using driving simulators, on-road driving research, or a background in a related field would be advantageous.
