<p class="MsoPlainText">University of Nantes and Technicolor are jointly organizing a Salient360! Grand Challenge at the upcoming ICME in Hong-Kong on July 11, 2017. The goal of this grand challenge is to set up a baseline for
<b>Saliency prediction</b> <b>model</b> or omnidirectional image visualization in HMD. As there is no SoA for such scenario, any preliminary proposal would be good to report.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">The Full Test Dataset (20+40 ground truth images, 40+ observers), including head motion + eye gaze tracking in HMD, will be available early next week, some test vectors are already available to test the evaluation framework (on demand
at <a href="mailto:salient360@univ-nantes.fr">salient360@univ-nantes.fr</a>, with name and affiliation, as well as indications on your participation).<o:p></o:p></p>
