A postdoctoral research fellowship is available at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH), Office of Science and Engineering Laboratories (OSEL), Division of Biomedical Physics (DBP). The fellow will participate
in an FDA inter-center collaborative research project in the lab of Dr. Ethan Cohen to optically evaluate the sensitivity of microglia at detecting toxins in retinal tissue. The fellow should be familiar with handling live retinal tissue, optical imaging/image
analysis, and immunocytochemistry. The qualified candidate should have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Engineering, Physiology, Pharmacology, or a Vision-related field. The laboratory is located at the FDA headquarters (Federal Research Center at White Oak) in Silver
Spring, MD. Preference will be given to creative applicants with some or all of the following skills and experience:</div>
