The department is seeking a faculty member with research interests in the structure and function of the human visual system. Candidates with research expertise in visual optics or functional magnetic resonance imaging are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Optics, Vision Science, Neuroscience or relevant disciplines; an O.D. degree is desirable but not necessary.<br class=""><br class="">The successful applicant will be expected to establish an extramurally-funded research program and will have teaching responsibilities in the College’s optometry program and in the graduate program in Vision Science.<br class=""><br class="">The College is a small, dynamic institution located in the historic Back Bay section of Boston. The College has a strong commitment to vision research and a collaborative research environment. Research at the college is supported by an NIH/NEI T35 research training grant, several NIH research grants, and internal funding.<br class=""><br class="">The start date for the position is July 1, 2017 at the earliest, and we will begin reviewing applications in May.
