postdoctoral research position is available in the Department of Psychology at
Penn State University in the lab of Dr. Suzy Scherf (<a href="http://sites.psu.edu/scherflab/ldn-director/">http://sites.psu.edu/scherflab/ldn-director/</a>).
This position is supported by an NIMH-funded grant investigating the influence
of pubertal development on face processing and functional brain
development. We employ </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:rgb(55,55,55);background-image:initial;background-position:initial;background-size:initial;background-repeat:initial;background-origin:initial;background-clip:initial">functional
(fMRI) and structural (sMRI) magnetic resonance, together with detailed
behavioral paradigms in </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">typically
developing </span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:rgb(55,55,55);background-image:initial;background-position:initial;background-size:initial;background-repeat:initial;background-origin:initial;background-clip:initial">children,
adolescents, and emerging adults. We use univariate, pattern analytic, and
effective connectivity strategies in addressing questions about functional
changes in the organization of neural network organization. <span></span></span></p>

ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in developmental or cognitive neuroscience,
or related field, previous experience with fMRI research, strong programming
(e.g., Matlab) and quantitative skills, and a promising publication record. Experience
with child and adolescent participants is a plus, but not required. <span></span></span></p>

considered. This is a one-year position renewable up to 5 years, contingent on
