<div>IC3D is taking place again this year but with some changes. The name now stands for International conference on 3D immersion, and reflects a new emphasis for the meeting on VR and immersion. As before, the scientific conference will take place alongside
a larger meeting now called Stereopsia (formally 3d stereo media), and will take place in Brussels instead of Liege. </div>

<div style="font-family: Calibri;">The meeting is still technically co-sponsored by IEEE, and papers will be eligible for a prestigious Lumiere Award from the Advanced Imaging Society and the VR society. Deadline is Sept. 4th. See below for links and further

<p style="text-align: justify;">IC3D is a peer-reviewed scientific & technical conference, and researchers from all over the world generally acclaim the fact that IC3D is technically co-sponsored by <a href="http://mailing.3dstereomedia.eu/l/BVFgoH9j0ZWndVHHCkPfTA/q7J74G99OfN7631o763mtqd5xA/o892176385Xwswx5JW4meIuCHQ"><u>IEEE</u></a> -
“The world’s largest technical organization for the advancement of technology” - and that its proceedings are archived in the <a href="http://mailing.3dstereomedia.eu/l/BVFgoH9j0ZWndVHHCkPfTA/DB58dsiK3ZUa8928cH0892gBfw/o892176385Xwswx5JW4meIuCHQ"><u>IEEE Xplore</u></a> digital
library, thereby providing maximum visibility to the authors and their work. After six editions, we adjusted the focus and full title of IC3D by simply replacing “3D imaging” by “3D immersion”, to reflect current trends and to prepare for the future, and we
changed the venue to the Capital of Europe.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Here are two of the many reasons for choosing IC3D to submit your best research work on 3D immersion (3D VR, AR, MR, XR,…). First, each excellent submission stands a chance to win a prestigious <strong>Lumiere Award</strong> from

to know that, as part of its NextTech Plan, <strong>Brussels</strong> has “<strong>virtual reality</strong>” as one of its three current high-tech priorities.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Please, consider submitting your very best “3D immersion” papers to IC3D and joining us next December in the Capital of Europe, at the prestigious <strong>Center for Fine Arts</strong> of Brussels, affectionately called BOZAR.</p>
