The network is focused on innovation in hyper-realistic imaging, encoding and display technologies. It comprises research groups across Europe specialising in Multimedia, Optics, Visual Communication, Visual Computing, Computer Graphics and Human Vision.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

<span lang="EN-US"><font face="Calibri" size="3">The post offers excellent cross-disciplinary research training opportunities (as well as a relatively high salary). PhD training will include secondments with partners, and working closely with Rafal Mantiuk’s
lab at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, University of Cambridge. The funding will also provide significant interaction with the network as a whole.<o:p></o:p></font></span></p>

blur and the eye’s focusing response) to perceived realism, and will involve measurement of the eye’s focusing response, eye movements, and perception in 3d stereo imagery.<o:p></o:p></font></span></p>
