<p class="MsoNormal">The Department of Health, Kinesiology, and Recreation at the University of Utah (<a href="http://www.utah.edu">www.utah.edu</a>) invites applications for tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in the Health and
Kinesiology Program. Candidates should have a strong research background related to cognitive neuroscience and/or motor behavior and/or experimental psychology and/or movement science. There are existing opportunities for collaboration in these research areas
within the Department and the greater Health Sciences Center including the School of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training, and Department of Occupational and Recreational Therapies. Research infrastructure exists to assist in the
development of research enterprise through the College of Health Research Office and the Center for Clinical and Translational Science.

<p class="MsoNormal">At the Assistant Professor level, candidates should possess a quality track record of peer reviewed publications and external funding. At the Associate Professor level candidates should have evidence of sustained excellence in publications
and external funding. Candidates will be expected to continue a strong line of scholarship and external funding as well as teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, mentor graduate students conducting MS Thesis and/or Ph.D. dissertation research, and participate

<p class="MsoNormal">The Health and Kinesiology program is a part of the Department of Health, Kinesiology, and Recreation (HKR), within the College of Health, which is one of five components in the Health Sciences Center at the University of Utah (along with
the School of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing, and College of Dentistry). The Health and Kinesiology program has approximately 1500 undergraduate students and 100 graduate students (Masters and Doctoral).
