for a postdoctoral or more senior research associate in human and non-human
primate electrophysiology is available in the Neuroscience of Attention &
Perception Laboratory (NA&P Lab), led by Dr. Sabine Kastner at the
Princeton Neuroscience Institute. The lab studies neural mechanisms of
cognition in the primate brain. Intracranial recordings from human epilepsy
patients and non-human primates are conducted using identical behavioral
paradigms and combined with computational approaches. The term of this
appointment is one year, with the possibility of renewal based upon
satisfactory performance and funding.

seeking an extremely motivated postdoctoral researcher with a background in
human or non-human primate electrophysiology. Studies will include simultaneous
recordings and stimulation from multiple, interconnected brain regions. The
researcher will gain experience with the use of laminar probes and electrical
microstimulation to study attention networks in a behaving animal model together
with parallel studies in humans.
