You will liaise closely with colleagues at our Dubai and Malaysia campuses, who will also be delivering programmes to our students. </span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><br></span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Applicants with specialisms in any field of Psychology may apply, and appointments may be made on one of two bases:</span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><br></span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">[1] Teaching & Research post-holders will engage in teaching activities (approximately 40%), research (approximately 40%) and carry out one or more administrative duties (approximately 20%). </span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">[2] Teaching & Scholarship post-holders will engage in teaching (approximately 70%), scholarship activities (approximately 10%) and carry out one or more administrative duties (approximately 20%). </span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><br></span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">You will have a demonstrable commitment to teaching (and where appropriate, research), along with strong academic credibility and experience of one or more administrative roles. Experience of close collaborative working with other academics and professionals along with highly-developed emotional intelligence, and personal resilience are all essential for this post.</span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">The expectation is that appointees to a Teaching & Research post will maintain publication and grant securing activity at a level and standard that equates to at least 3* in the Research Excellence Framework (REF).
