Accepted </span><span class="gmail-il" style="font-size:12.8px">workshops</span><span style="font-size:12.8px"> and tutorials will be held on either May 14 or May 18, 2019, in the same venue as the </span><span class="gmail-il" style="font-size:12.8px">FG</span><span style="font-size:12.8px"> 2019 main conference, namely, Lille Grand Palais. Special sessions will be held with the main conference, 15-17 May.</span><br style="font-size:12.8px"><br style="font-size:12.8px"><span style="font-size:12.8px">We solicit </span><span class="gmail-il" style="font-size:12.8px">workshop</span><span style="font-size:12.8px"> and tutorial </span><span class="gmail-il" style="font-size:12.8px">proposals</span><span style="font-size:12.8px"> on any topic of interests to the </span><span class="gmail-il" style="font-size:12.8px">FG</span><span style="font-size:12.8px"> community. We especially encourage </span><span class="gmail-il" style="font-size:12.8px">workshops</span><span style="font-size:12.8px"> relating to emerging new fields or new application domains of face and gesture analysis and synthesis. The tutorials should complement and enhance the scientific program of </span><span class="gmail-il" style="font-size:12.8px">FG</span><span style="font-size:12.8px"> 2019 by providing authoritative and comprehensive overviews of growing themes that are of sufficient relevance with respect to the state-of-the-art and the conference topics. </span><span class="gmail-il" style="font-size:12.8px">Workshop</span><span style="font-size:12.8px"> and tutorial organizers who have a strong track record in the field are strongly encouraged to submit a </span><span class="gmail-il" style="font-size:12.8px">proposal</span><span style="font-size:12.8px">. The tutorials are half-day events (3 to 4 hours including breaks). For Special Sessions, we particularly encourage </span><span class="gmail-il" style="font-size:12.8px">proposals</span><span style="font-size:12.8px"> that highlight emerging new fields, application domains and challenges related to face and gesture as well as interdisciplinary topics that bring new perspectives to the </span><span class="gmail-il" style="font-size:12.8px">FG </span><span style="font-size:12.8px">community. It is possible to propose panels in this category.
