<div dir="ltr"><div>A postdoctoral position is available in the group of Marius Peelen at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour (Nijmegen, The Netherlands). The Donders Institute offers excellent lab and neuroimaging facilities, courses, and technical support.<br></div><br>The research group, funded by an ERC grant, uses fMRI and EEG/MEG to investigate the neural basis of factors that contribute to efficient naturalistic vision, such as object grouping, perceptual learning, context-based predictions, and attentional set. We also study the principles underlying the organisation of high-level visual cortex. <div><br></div><div>As a postdoctoral researcher you will be expected to take the lead in developing and performing fMRI and (fMRI-guided) TMS experiments that reveal the function and causal contribution of object- and scene-selective cortices during naturalistic visual perception. Studying related topics, within the scope of the lab's interests, may also be possible.</div><div><br></div><div>You should preferably hold a PhD in cognitive neuroscience, psychology, or a related field, and have relevant experience in visual perception research and a strong motivation to pursue a scientific career. Experience with fMRI and/or TMS is highly desirable, as is experience with scientific programming (e.g. MATLAB, Python). You will work in a highly collaborative lab environment and you will be expected to participate actively in lab events, discussions, and research collaborations.<br><br>For informal inquiries, email <a href="mailto:m.peelen@donders.ru.nl">m.peelen@donders.ru.nl</a> <div>To apply, please visit: <a href="https://www.ru.nl/werken/details/details_vacature_0/?recid=601763">https://www.ru.nl/werken/details/details_vacature_0/?recid=601763</a><br></div><div><div>For more information about our work, see: <a href="https://sites.google.com/site/peelenlab">https://sites.google.com/site/peelenlab</a></div><br class="gmail-Apple-interchange-newline"></div></div></div>
