<p class="MsoPlainText"><span lang="EN-US">We are currently accepting applications for a postdoctoral position in the lab of Bianca Wittmann at the University of Giessen, Germany, just 70 km north of Frankfurt. The position is funded until December 2021, with
a possibility of extension.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText"><span lang="EN-US">The project will investigate the interaction of attentional processes and reward learning using fMRI. Our department offers a research-dedicated 3T MRI scanner with eye-tracking and peripheral physiology equipment.
The project is part of a larger research group on mechanisms of perception led by Karl Gegenfurtner (</span><a href="http://www.sfb-perception.de"><span lang="EN-US">www.sfb-perception.de</span></a><span lang="EN-US">). The group offers a creative, cooperative
and multi-disciplinary environment for young scientists. Funding for research visits in collaborating research groups abroad is available (e.g. Princeton University, PI: Yael Niv).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText"><span lang="EN-US">We are looking for highly motivated candidates with good programming skills and prior publications using fMRI and / or computational modeling of learning or decision making.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
