are invited for a post-doctoral position to study visual and auditory cognition
with a focus on the neural correlates of perceptual awareness. This NSF-funded
project is focused on modifying newly developed no-report EEG paradigms for
fMRI, acquiring neuroimaging data, and deploying state-of-the-art analysis techniques
(e.g. decoding, RSA, etc.) to answer basic outstanding questions about the neural
correlates of consciousness. This position is ideal for graduate students or
post-docs with a strong background in neuroimaging and interests in testing leading

postdoc will work closely with the project PIs: Prof. Michael Cohen (Department
of Psychology, Amherst College) and Prof. Michael Pitts (Department of
Psychology, Reed College). Both PIs run labs at small, research-focused
undergraduate institutions, so the post-doc can expect significant
individualized attention and training. Scanning will be carried out at
neighboring institutions (University of Massachusetts-Amherst or Oregon Health

must hold a Ph.D. in Psychology, Computer Science, Neuroscience, or a related
field. The ideal candidate will have experience with neuroimaging, specifically
fMRI, and will possess significant experience with Matlab or an equivalent
