examines the structure and function of photoreceptors both in the normal and diseased visual system using high resolution retinal imaging techniques. One particular goal is to develop cellular level biomarkers for assessing photoreceptor response to gene therapies

<span style="background:white">The ideal applicant will have:</span><br>
<span style="background:white">- a PhD in bioengineering, neuroscience, optics, vision science, or a related field, with a focus on one or more of these topics: adaptive optics imaging, retinal function, or image processing.</span><br>
- strong analytical skills with experience in image interpretation</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif; color:#212121; background:white">- strong quantitative skills, MATLAB programming ability preferred</span><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif; color:#212121"></span></p>
