The NIH funded project “Towards a Compositional Generative Model of Human Vision” is led by Dan Kersten working with colleagues Steve Engel, Sheng He, and Cheryl Olman at Minnesota and Alan Yuille at Johns Hopkins University. The project combines behavioral, neuroimaging, computer vision, and machine learning approaches to understand how the human visual system interprets human body form given natural image input.
