<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">A postdoctoral position is available in the Laboratory of Dr. Susan Leat at the School of Optometry and Vision Science, University of Waterloo. We are studying new ways to examine the vision of young children and the
project involves development of tests and validation in adults and participants with visual impairments or amblyopia.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">The Fellowship requires a PhD in vision science/optometry, or other relevant field. The ideal candidate would have an optometry qualification, experience and passion working with young children, expertise in psychophysics,
and computer and software development skills. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">The School of Optometry and Vision Science has an active research programme (one of the largest in a School of Optometry) and a well-established international reputation for Research.
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">This is a full-time, 1-year position with the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance.
</span><span lang="EN-US">The Fellowship position would ideally run from April 2020 but this is negotiable.
