opening for a graduate researcher pursuing a PhD in Experimental Psychology. Starting date is march 2020, funding is
secured for 3 years.</p><p class="MsoNormal">The
successful candidate should have a Master’s degree in Experimental Psychology
or Cognitive Psychology and express a general interest in projects of visual or
intersensory perception and VR. A good methods background is necessary, command
of the German language is a plus but not required. The position comes with a
teaching load of one course per semester. The candidate is expected to earn a
PhD in Psychology at Mainz University by the end of the appointment. Note that
according to German customs, course work is not required.<o:p class=""></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">We have a
dynamic group of researchers and state-of-the-art lab equipment (VR-Laboratory,
tread-mill, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Eye-Tracker, color lab, etc.). Our research
topics include but are not limited to simulator sickness, audio-visual
interactions, TTC-estimation, picture and mirror perception, interpersonal
