FABBS (The Federation of Associations in Behavioral & Brain Sciences) is working to address new concerns about the NIH clinical trials policy. Specifically, we have received several reports from FABBS members that their NIH grant applications were rejected
before review. These were submissions that the PIs had not classified as clinical trials. NIH decided that they were clinical trials under their expansive definition of the term and they rejected those grant submissions on those grounds.<br class="">
