<p><strong>Two post-doctoral fellow positions</strong> are available in a joint research lab headed by
<strong>Li Li and Shuguang Kuai</strong> at as part of the NYU-ECNU Institute of Brain and Cognitive Science at NYU Shanghai (the Institute). The Institute is a joint venture between New York University (NYU) and East China Normal University (ECNU) and a major
research and academic platform for NYU Shanghai. More information about the Institute:

<p>Starting date is flexible, each for a two-year term, with the possibility to extend or convert into a permanent faculty position at ECNU for researchers with good performance. The successful applicants will work closely with Dr. Li Li (<a href="https://wp.nyu.edu/perception_action_lab/people/">https://wp.nyu.edu/perception_action_lab/people/</a>)

and will be based in either NYU Shanghai or ECNU to carry out brain imaging and behavioral studies on human visual perception, human computer interaction, and human locomotion and visuomotor control. The lab is equipped with a state-of-the art CAVE system
for 3D visualization, a high-precision head tracking and motion capture system for studying perception and locomotion in virtual reality, and multiple eye trackers. Researchers will also have access to multiple MRI scanners.<br>

<p>Successful candidates will receive a globally competitive yearly salary (about USD 40-60k depending on experience) and will usually receive a separate research fund from Shanghai government upon application, and will have the opportunities to spend time
at NYU in New York in case of a collaboration between Shanghai and New York. </p>

<p>Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience or a related field, and should possess strong programming skills (e.g., Matlab, Unity3d,Python, C++ etc.). Prior experience with virtual reality, psychophysics, and neuroimaging
