One of the initial acts of the committee was to organize, with FoVea, a Town Hall during V-VSS 2020. This event was attended by over 295 VSS members and led to many important exchanges and recommendations. The VSS Committee on Diversity and Inclusion is working to implement some of these ideas.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#0C0C0C'> <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#0C0C0C'>One of the recommendations made at the Town Hall was to involve more VSS members in the efforts to promote diversity and inclusion. In response to this recommendation, we are establishing a new member advisory group.
