<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">ERI is a uniquely attractive place to receive postdoctoral training in vision and blind rehabilitation research as training includes an immersion in Envision’s many resources
in Wichita, Kansas and Dallas, Texas; including a comprehensive vision rehabilitation clinic, workforce innovation center, early childhood development center, education outreach programs and employment for the blind and visually impaired (BVI).

<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">A Fellow must have received, at the start of their Fellowship, a PhD, PsyD, MD, OD, OTD, JD or equivalent doctoral degree at an accredited institution. BVI research is multi-
and interdisciplinary, thus the field of the doctoral degree is less important than the proposed training and research to be carried out during the fellowship. Awards are expected to be 2 years in duration. Training and research is conducted at ERI, however
the fellow may travel to a mentor’s institution for up to 3 months in the first year to receive additional training not available at ERI.
