<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Georgia",serif">Investigators conducting research on medical image perception know that it can be difficult to attract radiologists or other experts to participate as experimental observers. For the last four years
support from the NIH National Cancer Institute (NCI) has funded the Perception Lab in the Learning Center of the RSNA annual meeting in Chicago. Last year, 17 labs tested over 600 radiologists.
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Georgia",serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Georgia",serif">This year, the RSNA will be held online, so there will be no opportunity to recruit and test radiologists in person. In response, NCI has created a virtual Perception Lab, a web page where researchers
can post links to their own online medical image perception studies. The virtual Perception Lab will not be tied to the RSNA, and we plan to have the site up for at least the current fiscal year. All medical image perception studies will be eligible, the site
will not be limited to radiology studies. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
