Leipzig (Germany). The employment is full-time and will be awarded for three

within a joint research project with Dr. Veronica Mazza (CIMeC, University
of Trento, Italy), and is funded by the German Research Foundation. The project
aims to test central theories in visual search. In particular, it is set out to
test the functional role of the so-called Pd component of the visual evoked
potential. Experiments will include EEG recordings and behavioural experiments
conducted at the University Leipzig and at the <a href="https://webapps.unitn.it/du/en/StrutturaAccademica/STO0008663" target="_blank"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:black">Center for Mind/Brain Sciences - CIMeC</span></a>,</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif"> at UniTrento/Rovereto (Italy).</span><span lang="EN-US"></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm 0cm 10pt;line-height:12.65pt;background-image:initial;background-position:initial;background-size:initial;background-repeat:initial;background-origin:initial;background-clip:initial;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span lang="EN-GB">The postdoctoral
researcher should be able to conduct independent EEG research including writing
of stimulation programs (in Matlab) and recording and analysing EEG data.
Candidates should have a background in Psychology or Neuroscience and hold a
PhD or be close to completion of a PhD. Previous EEG experience familiarity
with the use of Matlab for data analysis and experimental designing is
essential. Willingness to spend some time at CIMeC in Rovereto to conduct
experiments there is a prerequisite.</span><span lang="EN-US"></span></p>
