of Dr. Anitha Pasupathy at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.
The laboratory studies the cortical processing of visual form and is
part of the Dept. of Biological Structure and the Washington National
Primate Research Center (WaNPRC).</p>
<p>The research technician will participate in a project on the neuronal basis
of object recognition in nonhuman primates. Tasks will include training nonhuman primates on behavioral tasks, conducting neurophysiology experiments in awake animals and writing C/Python/Matlab code to create visual stimuli and analyze data. The ideal candidate is someone with an undergraduate degree in neuroscience, biology or engineering, a strong interest in scientific research, knowledge of programming in C/Python and familiarity with statistical methods.
