Candidates should be interested in translational research and the development of new therapies to cure blindness or other diseases. The postdoctoral scholar will have a direct impact on lab development and its success in publishing in high impact factor journals. The person will be also responsible for performing dynamic research to create a competitive research group. The position will be assigned to the Ophthalmic Biology Group led by Andrzej Foik Ph.D. focusing on the development of new viral therapies, visual information processing in the visual system before and after plasticity that happens due to vision recovery or disease.</span><!--EndFragment--><div style="clear: both;" data-mce-style="clear: both;"><br></div></div><div>https://euraxess.ec.europa.eu/jobs/580785<br></div><div>https://ichf.edu.pl/en/job/international-centre-for-translational-eye-research-icter-mab-2019-12-the-project-centre-is-funded-within-the-international-rese<br></div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>Best regards,</div><div>Andrzej Foik</div><div><br><!--EndFragment--><div style="clear: both;" data-mce-style="clear: both;"><br></div></div><div data-marker="__SIG_POST__">-- <br></div><div><div><span style="font-size: 12pt;" data-mce-style="font-size: 12pt;">Andrzej Foik, PhD</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;" data-mce-style="font-size: 12pt;">Group Leader</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;" data-mce-style="font-size: 12pt;">Ophthalmic Biology Group</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;" data-mce-style="font-size: 12pt;">International Centre for Translational Eye Research (ICTER)</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;" data-mce-style="font-size: 12pt;">Institute of Physical Chemistry PAS</span><br><span style="font-size: 12pt;" data-mce-style="font-size: 12pt;">ul.
