The goal of this PhD position is to develop deep learning algorithms that, combined with neuroscience-inspired structures, can be used as a guidance principle to build core components of artificial systems with human-like capabilities. Areas of interest include 3D point-clouds, Capsule Networks, Spiking Neural Networks and other state-of-the-art deep learning strategies.
