<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">Normal cell lines from the posterior part of the human eyes (retina, choroid and sclera) are not common with just a few commercially available. To pave the
way for in vitro functional genomics study for genetic variants found to be associated with refractive errors and myopia, we plan to use the technology of human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) to generate different cell types in the retina, the choroid
and the sclera via the use of different combinations of growth factors. Subsequent functional studies will use genomic technologies based on massively parallel analysis such MPRA, ATAC-seq, Hi-C, etc.</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
