<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:12.0pt;text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">High myopia, or short-sightedness of high magnitude (˜–6.00D), is associated with ocular structural anomalies and increased risks of blinding
ocular pathologies. The increasing prevalence of high myopia among schoolchildren and university freshman in East Asian population dramatically increases the burden of chronic health care. Although multiple attempts ranging from early diagnosis to ophthalmic
interventions are being tested for their efficacy of managing high myopia, whether and how inter-subject characteristics play an active role in achieving the target treatment outcome is an important question of clinical significance. To identify and formulate
effective regimes specific for individual, this project aims to characterize anatomical, optical, and electrophysiological parameters in individuals developing high myopia through AI-assisted big data analytics. </span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
