Master 2-level Internship in Cognitive Psychology at UNIVERSITE de PARIS, Boulogne-Billancourt, on the link between action, perception and the reinforcement of eye movements.

One Internship position is available to work at the Laboratoire VAC (Vision Action Cognition) (http://recherche.parisdescartes.fr/VAC).

The student will be supervised by Céline Paeye and Anne Hillairet de Boisferon. He/she will collaborate in designing and running experiments linked to the ANR-JC project “AdRenf” on saccadic adaptation induced either by conventional double-step paradigms or
by reinforcement learning (see references below). A large part of this project is also dedicated to studying (space and/or time) perception and will include psychophysical experiments. This will offer the successful candidate the unique opportunity to conduct
studies that bridge the gap between vision science and the theory of reinforcement learning.

Training in cognitive psychology or cognitive science is important, as interest in programming (We program in R and Matlab). A good level of English and French is desirable.

Applications should be sent preferably before July 15th, 2021, but later applications will be considered until the position is filled.

Initial inquiries and/or applications should be sent by email to Celine Paeye (celine.paeye@u-paris.fr ) and should include a CV, a brief statement of research interests, the expected date of availability and at least one letter of reference.
