We are looking for a programmer/data analyst to help with a collaborative project with the Army Research Laboratory.

The position is in the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences at The George Washington University to work with Drs. Stephen Mitroff and Dwight Kravitz. The project is funded through a cooperative agreement with the US Army Research Laboratory, which means the GWU team works hand-in-hand with Army collaborators. The research focus is on using big data to understand the intricacies of human variability and how performance changes over short and long time frames. The work centers around a dataset of ~4 billion trials of visual search performance collected from ~15 million individuals. The project aims to inform basic science questions about underlying mechanisms of human performance in complex environments and its adaptation in relation to experience, while also informing translational questions with real-world applications.
