          is looking to hire at least one highly motivated and
          enthusiastic post-doctoral fellow to investigate the neural
          basis of high-level visual perception (for example, word, face
          and common objects). The research will entail implementing
          psychophysical and fMRI experiments with both normal and
          brain-damaged child and adult participants. This includes a
          group of children who have undergone hemispherectomy and in
          whom brain (re)organization is being evaluated.

          at Carnegie Mellon University and at the University of
          Pittsburgh. The position, funded by the National Institutes of
          Health, is for 2 years with the possibility of an additional

        sans-serif"><strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">Qualifications
            include the following:
          </span></strong>Ph.D in Cognitive Neuroscience, Psychology or
        related fields, particularly in the areas of vision science. A
        strong record of publications. Knowledge of Matlab, Python, or R
        is an asset. Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
        and demonstrate attention to detail and record keeping.
        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills desirable.
