Eye Institute, University of Rochester </b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm 0cm 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Dr Juliette McGregor welcomes applications for a
postdoctoral fellow to join her research team working on the pre-clinical
development of vision restoration therapies. The lab specializes in cellular
scale calcium imaging in the living eye and the unique challenges of restoring
foveal vision. Current projects include a multi-center effort to advance stem
cell derived photoreceptor replacement therapy with a focus on detecting and
optimizing restored retinal function <i>in vivo.</i> </p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm 0cm 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant field and ideally
a background in pre-clinical development of regenerative therapies. Previous experience
of calcium imaging is desirable but not essential. Training in adaptive optics calcium
imaging in the living eye will be provided and this opportunity could be a good
fit for those interested in learning a new approach as part of building toward a
