YOUR TEAM<br>
You will be working in the Pattern Analysis and Computer vision (PAVIS) Research Line, a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural group where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out the research on Computer Vision
and Artificial Intelligence.<br>
PAVIS research line is coordinated by Dr. Alessio Del Bue.<br>
Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:<br>
Hardware and software prototyping of computational systems based on Computer Vision and Machine Learning technology;<br>
Support PAVIS facility maintenance and organization;<br>
Support PAVIS Technology Transfer initiatives (external projects);<br>
Support PAVIS researcher activities;<br>
Support PAVIS operations (procurement, ICT services, troubleshooting, data management, logistics, equipment management and maintenance).<br>
<br>
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU SHINE<br>
A master or bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar discipline<br>
Documented experience in Computer Programming using Python and Computer Vision<br>
Documented experience of Windows and Linux programming and managing tools<br>
Good knowledge of the English language<br>
A cooperative approach <br>
Accuracy and good analytical skills <br>
<br>
EXTRA AWESOME<br>
Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning models (e.g. Pytorch, Tensorflow, CUDA)<br>
Experience with modern software development tools and technologies (CI/CD, test driven development, Git, microservices, Docker, MQTT, DevOps)<br>
Working experience in the public or private research sector<br>
Experience developing software for interfacing sensors (cameras, PTZ, RGBD sensors, thermocameras) or GPUs<br>
Experience in managing computer networks and network programming<br>
Good communication skills<br>
Strong problem solving attitude<br>
High motivation to learn<br>
Spirit of innovation and creativity<br>
Good in time and priority management<br>
Ability to work in a challenging and international environment<br>
