<div>This is the first call for participation in the Scottish Vision Group Meeting 2023, which will take place <span style="font-size: inherit;">in Dundee city from Friday April 21st – Sunday April 23rd 2023.</span></div>
<div>The Scottish vision group meeting is an annual conference for vision scientists from Scotland, the <span style="font-size: inherit;">rest of the UK, Europe and beyond. The meeting is small and friendly, and is an opportunity for </span><span style="font-size: inherit;">people
at all stages of their career to present their work and discuss ideas. This year we are pleased </span><span style="font-size: inherit;">to announce that Professor Tim Ledgeway (University of Nottingham) will deliver the MDPI Vision</span></div>
<div>Keynote Lecture.</div>

<div><span style="font-size: inherit;">We are extremely aware that the cost of living crisis is affecting people’s budgets and in an effort to </span><span style="font-size: inherit;">keep the conference accessible to all we are working hard to keep the costs
down. In order to do </span><span style="font-size: inherit;">this, we have had to make certain concessions, the biggest difference to previous years is that the </span><span style="font-size: inherit;">conference itself will be hosted at Abertay University
and accommodation is provided by Hampton</span></div>
<div>by Hilton which is just five minutes’ walk away in Dundee.</div>

<div>The abstracts from the meeting will be published in MDPI. We will also be collating a special issue of <span style="font-size: inherit;">Vision based on the proceedings of the meeting, offering a great opportunity for a full publication at</span></div>
<div>no extra cost.</div>

<div>Fees: The cost (including accommodation and all meals) will be £360. </div>
<div dir="ltr"><br>
</div>
<div>Travel: Dundee is located on the East coast of Central Scotland, it is easily accessible via rail, road <span style="font-size: inherit;">and air – you can fly to Dundee from London City, though we’d recommend you use greener forms</span></div>
<div>of travel.</div>
