The Verghese Lab at the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute in San Francisco seeks a postdoctoral researcher to join a project investigating the relationship between interocular suppression and stereopsis in amblyopia and strabismus. This research is funded
by an NIH grant and is a collaboration between Preeti Verghese & Suzanne McKee at Smith-Kettlewell and Dennis Levi at Berkeley. The planned studies in the project involve psychophysics, eye movements and steady-state EEG. <br class="">
<br class="">
We are seeking a motivated individual with a background in programming (using Matlab or Python), experience with human subject testing, experience or interest in eye tracking and in EEG. This is an ideal position for an individual interested in applying rigorous
basic science methods to gain an understanding of binocular interactions in strabismus and amblyopia.<br class="">
<br class="">
To learn more about the position, please do not hesitate to contact me (<a href="mailto:preeti@ski.org" class="">preeti@ski.org</a>)..<br class="">
