<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:white"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">This cluster of studentships aims to lead the way in identifying avenues for fair access and engagement for all, by understanding the needs
 of people who are typically excluded and unheard from and developing policy and technological advancement for long-term and sustainable change. Studentships in this cluster will help to develop a stronger understanding of the factors that influence accessibility
 across different groups, the effectiveness of existing solutions, and the social, political, and legal challenges to implementing new solutions for improving accessibility. Projects will build on existing research strengths at the University of Stirling, for
 example the work developed by the Centre for Mobile Cognition; Centre for Environment Dementia and Ageing Research; Stirling Autism Research; Stirling Vision and Image Processing group; Health Psychology Research Group, as well as NHS Partnerships, and campaigning/policy
 body links through Human Rights and Diplomacy programmes. We provide the opportunity to study people across the life span (from birth, including pre-natal care to old age), and with different life experiences (e.g., pregnancy, neurodiversity, disability, chronic
 illness, cognitive impairment, exposure to pollution). Broadly speaking, the research of these studentships will focus on people as they access urban, natural, and digital environments.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
