Electronic Engineering and Paul Warren in the Division of Psychology,<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
Communication & Human Neuroscience. The aim of the project is to test<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
limits on real-world colour perception by individuals free to observe<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
and move while immersed in realistic, natural 3D environments.<br>

The project is due to start April 2023 or as soon as possible<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
thereafter. Salary will be £34,308 to £42,155 per annum, depending on<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
experience.<br>

Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
and experience with vision research, especially in psychophysics,<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
colour vision, coding for computer-controlled displays, and image<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
processing. They should also have good organizational skills,<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
professional competence with English, and a record of peer-reviewed<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
publication. Familiarity with virtual reality systems would be an<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
advantage.<br>
