The work will be done within the framework of the COSURAI (COmpletion of SURfaces by Artificial Intelligence) project funded by the Normandy region.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Missions</div><div>--------------</div><div>The post-doctorate will have the main responsibility to :</div><div>- Carry out a bibliography on 3D mesh completion using generative models</div><div>- Design and implement a method for completing the geometry and color of 3D meshes using auto-encoders.</div><div>- Apply the developed method to the completion of 3D color meshes of people scans.</div><div><br></div><div>Skills</div><div>--------------</div><div>- PhD in artificial intelligence or computer science</div><div>- Master's degree or engineering diploma in a field related to computer science or applied mathematics.</div><div>- Solid publication record in the field of computer vision and/or deep learning</div><div>- In-depth knowledge of machine learning and deep learning methodologies</div><div>- Proficiency in Python (particularly deep learning frameworks) and possibly C++ programming.</div><div>- Ability to write scientific reports and communicate research results at conferences in English.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>General Information</div><div>--------------------</div><div>—<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Research Laboratory : The laboratory GREYC (UMR CNRS 6072) is a Joint Research Unit in digital sciences under the supervision of ENSICAEN, CNRS and the University of Caen Normandy (UNICAEN). The work will be carried out within the Image team whose research activities are focused on the development of new methods of processing and analysis of signals/images/videos.</div><div>—<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Place : Caen (France), located in the Normandy region, near the sea and about 240 km west of Paris, the city still has many old neighborhoods, a population of about 120,000 and an agglomeration of about 250,000 inhabitants, including more than 30,000 students at the University.</div><div>—<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Duration : 22 months.</div><div>—<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Salary : About 2500€ net per month.</div><div>—<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>To apply : Interested candidates should submit (by email, in a single pdf file) their curriculum vitae, list of publications, a cover letter.
