<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Utah</b>. The Department of Psychology at the University of Utah invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions in
<i>cognitive neuroscience</i>. This advertised position is for a tenure-track <b>
assistant professor</b>. We welcome applications from any area of human cognitive neuroscience (including but not limited to attention, memory, emotion, executive functioning, perception, language, decision-making, and reasoning) with a strong theory-based
research program. <span style="color:#212121">We especially welcome applicants who conduct research in visual cognition (e.g., visual attention, visual working memory) in both laboratory and applied settings</span>. Candidates who can speak to the real-world
impact of the processes they study are particularly well suited to the applied cognition focus of faculty already in the area.
<span style="color:#212121">Applications will be considered from those with diverse domains of methodological expertise (e.g., EEG, neuromodulation, computational modeling, fMRI, etc.), but we especially welcome those that can build on and extend our existing
expertise in cognitive electrophysiology. </span>Candidates should have an excellent and sustained record of research and evidence of the potential or demonstrated ability to generate extramural funding, commensurate with their career stage.<span style="mso-ligatures:none"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

Innovation and Dissemination Center (BHIDC), the Utah Network for LGBTQ Thriving (ThriveNet), and the Salt Lake Veterans Administration Medical Center.
