Are you interested in research with expert populations (specifically radiologists and related experts? Experts can be difficult to recruit as experimental participants. Here is a one way to address that problem. Come join the Medical Image Perception (MIP)
Lab from February 26 to March 1, 2025, at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna, Austria. The lab is a shared
facility allowing multiple investigators to collect data from interested radiologists/expert observers. This will be our 4th year at ECR. Last year, 9 labs tested over 400 participants. The meeting organizers have been extremely generous and will
be building a suite of small testing rooms inside the conference venue. This is a great opportunity to network with experts and other medical image perception researchers from around the world. Details below.

If interested, please send an application. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and space is limited, so please send your application as soon as you can.

Facilities: There will be five small, darkened testing areas in what should be a high traffic near a coffee bar! Each room will be equipped with a desk, two chairs, power, and internet access. In addition, there should be tables in an open area with
power and wireless internet. Many labs have found that they can test observers in these more casual environments. Registration fees for the meeting will be waived for 2-3 participating researchers per lab. Note: These are “exhibitor” badges that do not give
access to the scientific program. Individual researchers will need to provide their own testing equipment and their own monitors (we do not have access to loaner medical monitors this year). You will also need to provide the personnel to recruit participants
and run your experiment. Finally, investigators will be asked to contribute a modest amount to a fund that will cover expenses (e.g. coffee vouchers for participant reimbursement, The Official T-shirt … important for recruiting, etc.).
